Walking the dog on a wet day

In between showers I managed to get a couple of shots outside - quite an accomplishment these days! I'm walking the dog in this outfit, and possibly visiting a few shops.

From the hair you can tell that it's windy too. On my finger is my latest addition to my jewellery collection - a red "stone" ring, from Evans. It was on sale (like so many nice things these days!) for just £ 6,25!

I'm liking up with Not Dead Yet Style for Visible Monday. Not only is Patti absolutely gorgeous today, there's also a lot of lovely ladies creatively dressing themselves for high visibility - offering tons of inspiration!

A few posts ago I announced that a dress that I bought online from Marks and Spencer' was going back. Shortly after I got a couple of good new bras - and then the dress fitted perfectly! I'd love to recommend this brand - Primadonna.

It's Belgian and not exactly cheap. Some of the bras are quite expensive but their new line Twist costs less and doesn't have as much lace decorations, just as I like it! And they do larger sizes as well.

My dogs and I wish you all a great Monday - we're off into the rain now!

  1. The really good bras are not cheap, but they are worth it, I hear. We are all wet here too, the last few days and two more to come -- my hair is big : > Love your colorful sweater and thanks for linking up!

  2. There's nothing like a good bra is there? I have to wear strapless because my shoulders are narrow and the straps fall down constantly.
I love that ring you found. Rings are my favorite accessory I'd have to say. And you sure look nice for walking the dog!

    1. Thank you so much Joni! My dog looks really nice - I have to keep up with him! My shoulders are quite narrow too, so I often have problems with the straps. The shop assistant told me however, that the straps shouldn't carry any real weight, so I suppose a strapless bra should be just as effective as a regular one?

    1. Thank you! Too bad with the flu - my daughter has a cold, and what she has, the rest of the family in general gets too!

  4. I have noticed that different bras can affect the fit of a garment in a remarkable way. How are you holding up to the dog-sitting?

  5. Well, the the dog is very sweet and well behaved, but she's started bleeding - and our male dog is in love! Not only do I have to keep them apart, but I also have to walk them separately and feed them separately (my male doesn't eat with her around). The howling however, is the worst! It sounds like I'm torturing them - and in a way I am, by keeping them apart! So I've renamed them Romeo and Juliet!

  7. You must be channelling some great energy here because the first thing I noticed about your photo was that fantastic ring jumping out at me! You are also probably the best-looking dog-walker on the block in those fantastic-fitting jeans and your colours.

    1. Thank you so much Melanie! I don't think people notice around here - they only see the dog(s). I hardly ever take him for a walk without being stopped by people commenting on my beautiful dog! It doesn't get better having two of them...

    1. Thank you so much dear Sacramento! I'm sure Scotland is fantastic too, I know many who are returning year after year - like so many Scandinavians who are returning to Spain year after year. I guess we all just want the best of both worlds!
