A beige dress - how exciting!

For the remaining amount of my restricted monthly clothes budget, I've bought a beige dress. Guess what: It's  another CC dress, on sale!

Just add pink accessoreis!

This beige, which is more like camel, has never been even close to my best colour. The old trick of adding a "good" colour in form of a scarf has worked beautifully so many times, so why not on a Monday too?

Even the tights are pink!

Of course I'm matching the tights! After seeing the photos I'm sort of regretting that I didn't go with the mint green tights. Next time, I promise!

Again an excellent fit

I was quite unimaginative this morning when I chose jewellery for the outfit, but there's both gold and silver in there - following the mini-blogger-trend of Joni (Walking Colors) and Curtise (The Secondhand Years), although on a minimalist scale!

One gold ring, one silver ring = mixed metals!

Now I'm all ready to join the Visible Monday fun at the stylish and elegant Patti's Not Dead Yet Style blog. It's so nice having Visible Monday to look forward to when the weather outside is cold and wet, with strong winds and too little daylight.

Thank you Patti!

  3. Málaga is perfect at Christmas. You can find yourself in short sleeves. It has a micro climat so it has the best weather of the whole country. Do not think twice. We could even meet.

  5. Well now I wouldn't call that dress beige at all! Is the print black or a dark green? I can't quite tell - either way, the print is what I notice rather than the background neutral colour, and I'm all about a great print! I think you have found your groove with these dresses, they do flatter and fit you very well. I like it with the pink accessories but you could probably do any bright colour and it would look great.
You're mixing your gold and silver too! Hurray! Who knew it was allowed?!
Hope you are feeling better, despite the cold, wet and windy weather. xxxxx

  6. Yea, me too. That's hardly what comes to mind when I hear "beige dress." Your dress is wild, almost like an animal print! And looks great on you with your hot pink scarf, et. al. But then you are a stylin' genius after all.

  7. That fabulous dress does not read "beige" to me either. It's very sassy, and looks great with the fuschia scarf. You will be able to do a ton with such a versatile print.

  8. Count me in with the "not-beige" group - this is more of a fabulous graphic print dress, and yes, the hot pink makes it even more special. Oh, and the tights too : > Thanks for sharing all your awesome-ness with Visible Monday.

  11. There is absolutely nothing bland about this beige dress. Love the outfit...but yearn for the boots. Where did you find them?

  12. Your beige is hardly beige in my eyes - you zap it up so fabulously! Great fit, great pattern. Love it all!

  13. Another great dress Tine! I know you like the cut, but are you satisfied with the quality of these dresses too? I might need to have one too! I am on the hunt for a black casual dress.

  16. That's the best kind of beige - in a fab print. I love how you styled it with a non-traditional colour combination.

  17. Oh, I like all the bright pink touches! I'm finding that the older I become the more trouble I have carrying off the neutral colors I wore frequently when I was younger. This dress has lots of interest with the pattern.

  18. Tine, you can totally wear beige, no worries. :) Sprucing it up with pink is fab!! :)
