A most inappropriate dress for daytime wear

This new silk dress is so low cut that it should only be worn after dark! And I will as soon as I get the chance ( my husband will love it!). In the meantime I wanted to wear it today, during daylight hours, as a break from all the colourful outfits I've worn lately. So, in grey, brown and black, with lots of sparkling silver lurex, here's today's very proper and visible outfit:

A close up of the bangles, and a bit of lurex knit (once I get to wear it for night time this kind of close up will not happen).

Of course I'll upload my photo to the Not Dead Yet Style blog, as it's Visible Monday!

    1. Thank you very much Patti, I'm wearing these bangles so often that I was afraid people would get tired of them, but I really love wearing them. They would also fit nicely with an audible Monday scheme!

    1. Thank you so much Anna! You wouldn't believe how I found out that I could actually enlarge my photos on the blog - and how long it took! Anyway, others have commented it too, so I'm very glad that I managed.

  4. That is such a cute combination. And as always...I LOVE those boots. Oh, and you have inspired me by the way. This past weekend I found a dress that I liked but was a little to short for my liking but then I remembered your leggings. As fashionally challenged as I am, you have helped to provide ideas and hints on what I should do. Thanks

    1. Thank you to you too Barbara! I think it's the first time I've inspired anyone. And I don't even feel fashionable. Less than a year ago when I started this blog I dressed terribly. It has taken a lot of photos of myself to determine what I like and how to get the "look" that I want. I've also followed other blogs closely. Now I'm finally beginning to like how I look. So, a pat on the shoulder is highly appreciated!
